HALT is a grab handle for people with physical disabilities who are looking for more independence. HALT offers more safety and freedom in the living space. It distinguishes itself from previous solutions in terms of shape and size and its simple design integrates well into the living space. The colour and installation location can be individually adapted to the user's needs, while installation and conversion are inexpensive. The round shape allows it to be gripped from all sides and a silicone ring prevents it from slipping. Its shape and material are easy on the joints.
I found the inspiration for my product idea while climbing. My vision for my product is a home in which there are many handholds at different heights that users can climb along. As the climbing holds are designed in such a way that they enable the climber to save energy and protect the joints, I have created my link to a user-friendly grab rail.
